SUMMARY
Compliance Manager for International Regulatory
Compliance Testing and Certification
Existing strong relationship with Chinese Certification
Authorities (CNCA, CQC, CEMC, MII, etc.) are preferred
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Hands-on Manager position to manage a group of
Compliance Test Engineers and Technicians to achieve
preset objective including Product Safety, EMI/EMC
and Radio/Wireless Testing programs.
- Familiar with international regulatory compliance
requirements, including but not limited to UL/FCC
(USA), CE (LVD, EMC, R&TTE) (Europe Union), CCC
(China), and International CB requirements, etc.
- Understand, interpret and tailor international
Product Safety, EMC and Radio Type Approval specifications,
test methods, and certification procedures.
- Communicate with customers and major technical
resources of SIEMIC labs.
- Effectively reply customers’ enquires and
sign Compliance Testing Contracts.
- Perform Compliance Testing according to Safety,
EMI/EMC, and Radio/Wireless test
- Plan and SIEMIC compliance Testing Procedures.
- Familiarity with International CB Scheme, attending
international CB conference representing SIEMIC as
CBTL – CB Test Laboratory, and maintain SIEMIC’s
CBTL status.
- Prepares Compliance Test reports in both English
and Chinese.
- Generates and implements documentation, including
test plans and test procedures.
- OJT (On-Job-Training) Product Safety, EMC, and
Radio/Wireless Test Engineers.
- Familiar with ISO 17025 (Laboratory Quality Assurance)
and Guide 65
- Other duties may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Electrical Engineering,
Physics or a related area from four-year college or
university; Minimum three years experience as Compliance
Engineer, preferably with experience working at CBTL
(CB Test Lab), and/or Compliance Test Labs.
PERSONNALITY
Excellent Decision-Maker,
good at team building and effectively manage the lab
as a whole team. Ability to work under pressure, ability
to work effectively with all levels of staff, ability
to communicate with National Certification Authorities,
particularly Chinese regulators, such as CNCA, CQC,
MII, etc.
LANGUAGE SKILLS (Both in English and Chinese)
Ability to read, analyze,
and interpret general business periodicals, professional
journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and
procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information
and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients,
customers, and the general public.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical
problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables
in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished
in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
