Belarus has formal and technically difficult approvals system.

Products may be granted approval on a batch basis, which requires a local representative, or on the basis of serial production, which requires a factory inspection.

There are requirements for EMC, Safety, and telecom network compatibility.

Documents should be submitted in Russian.

STB Mark Certification

STB Certificate is valid for 1 year or 3 years

The following documents together with two testing samples are required for STB Certification:

1. CB-Reports with certificates
2. SIEMIC Test Reports with emission and immunity testing based on European standards (e.g. EN 55022 and EN 55024 for ITE)
3. Other documents
   1. Service manual or relevant technical documentation
   2. Product photographs showing interior and exterior
   3. Rating labels in English for several brands (if several brands are to be applied)
   4. Instruction manual in English
   5. Factory Inspection reports in MC-6 / MC-7 format
   6. ISO certificate

Factory Inspection is not required for certification with one-year validity.

Factory Inspection performed by Bellis (Balerus Certification Agency) is required for certification with three years validity.
